The creation of a brand new luxury retirement village for leading retirement living provider Richmond Care Villages.

This new build Continued Care Retirement Community for Richmond Care Villages, which is part of the BUPA, was built on land to the rear of the Film Studios in Cheltenham.

The new four-storey village provides a 60-Bed Care Home and 55 Assisted Living Care Suites with communal facilities. The development offers high quality personal, nursing and dementia care together with care suites designed to help people retain their independence.

The building has been designed specifically with the long-term aim of preserving the woodland character of the site.
Construction comprised piled foundations with an in-situ concrete frame clad in rainscreen cladding, curtain walling, aluminium windows and doors and stone cladding – all fixed back to a Metsec wall construction.
