The building consists of lecture rooms, meeting rooms, office facilities, communal areas, dining facilities and a lounge / bar, en suite bedrooms and an exercise room spread over three storeys.

The project involved rewiring the entire building and refurbishment of the 121 en suite bedrooms.

The refurbishment works included complete strip out of the bedrooms to make way for new floor coverings, furniture, sanitary ware, vanity units and decoration. Elsewhere in the building, corridors and lobbies were painted and decorated and the entrance and reception were refurbished.
