The 80 bed care home was developed by specialist developer Brackley Investments for The Orders of St John Care Trust (OSJCT).

Work was completed on the new care home at Corn Croft Lane, off Horton Road in December 2014. It provides nursing and specialist dementia care.

The project was designed by architect Hunters and arranged over three floors, the 4,184 sq m building now provides residents with modern, comfortable bedrooms, all equipped with en-suite bathrooms. Residents now have access to a range of communal facilities including day lounges, a dining area, a tea lounge, a first-floor terrace and shop. The building also features staff offices and a laundry

Extremely technical roof construction using SIPS panels. A Combined Heat and Power (CHP) system to the building was installed. Detailed design has developed using our extensive care home experience to understand exactly what the client wanted.
